Nervous System Support

Have you ever felt stuck in stress, anxiety, or tension that doesnt seem to go away - no matter how much you rest or relax?

That’s because your nervous system holds onto these experiences. Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a gentle, body-centered approach that supports the release of stored tension and helps regulate the nervous system.

By tuning into the sensations in your body, SE allows you to slowly and safely work with these patterns, increasing awareness, building resilience, and restoring a greater sense of ease.

This work focuses on supporting the physiological effects of stress and trauma, helping the nervous system find balance. It is not therapy and does not treat trauma directly but can help ease symptoms and support your body's natural healing process.

  • Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a gentle, body-centered approach that supports the nervous system in releasing stored tension and restoring balance. It can help ease a wide range of physiological and emotional challenges by working with the body's natural ability to regulate and heal.

Some areas where SE may offer support include:

Chronic Stress and Anxiety – Helping the nervous system settle and shift out of patterns of overwhelm.

Nervous System Regulation – Supporting greater ease, flexibility, and resilience in response to life’s challenges.

Effects of Stress and Trauma – Assisting the body in releasing stored tension from past experiences, including accidents, injuries, medical procedures, or emotional distress.

Emotional Regulation – Cultivating a greater capacity to manage and move through intense emotions.

Chronic Pain and Tension – Addressing how prolonged stress and nervous system dysregulation can contribute to physical discomfort.

Sleep Challenges – Helping the body access deeper states of rest and relaxation.

Gut and Digestive Health – Supporting nervous system regulation, which plays a role in digestion and overall well-being.

Grief and Loss – Creating space to process emotions in a way that feels safe and embodied.

Relationship and Attachment Patterns – Exploring how nervous system regulation impacts connection, trust, and relational dynamics.

Burnout and Overwhelm – Rebuilding capacity after prolonged periods of stress, overwork, or exhaustion.

  • Sessions are conversational and centered around what feels most present for you in the moment.

You’ll be gently invited to notice physical sensations, emotions, or thoughts as they arise—supporting your body’s natural ability to regulate and find ease.

We may explore simple grounding practices, breathwork, or subtle movement to help your nervous system feel more settled and supported.

This is not a hands-on bodywork session—Somatic Experiencing is a seated, fully clothed practice that encourages gentle awareness of your body’s internal experience.

There’s no need to share every detail of your story. Rather than focusing on past events, we work with how your body holds and responds to experiences in the present moment.

My role is to support you in building awareness, trust, and resilience within your nervous system—at a pace that feels right for you.

  • Somatic Experiencing (SE) may be a good fit if you:

Feel stuck in patterns of stress, anxiety, or overwhelm and want to support your nervous system in finding more ease.

Experience chronic tension that massage alone doesn’t fully release.

Are interested in exploring a deeper connection between your body, emotions, and nervous system.

Want to work with stored stress or past experiences without needing to talk through every detail.

  • I am a current intermediate student with Somatic Experiencing International. This professional training has prepared me to support clients in safely navigating the physiological effects of stress through body-based practices.

Because I am a bodyworker, not a psychologist or counselor, my approach to somatic work stays fully grounded in the felt sense—the physical sensations and experiences held within the body. Sessions focus on gently increasing awareness of these sensations to support nervous system regulation and ease, rather than analyzing or processing through talk therapy.

My training has equipped me to assist with:

Understanding the Body’s Response to Stress – Recognizing how the nervous system holds and responds to overwhelming experiences.

Building Resources and Resilience – Helping clients cultivate internal resources to feel more settled and supported in their bodies.

Tracking Sensations and Emotions – Supporting clients in noticing and working with physical sensations at a comfortable, manageable pace.

Facilitating Gentle Release – Encouraging the natural unwinding of stored tension without pushing or overwhelming the system.

My role is to offer a supportive space where your body can process what it’s holding at its own pace, fostering greater balance, ease, and resilience.
